George Gideon Auctioneers facility will be CLOSED Saturday & Sunday. Items are located in East Palatka & Palatka, pickup hours for both locations are 7am - 3pm Monday through Friday. All items must be removed within 5 business days of the ending of the Auction.


Title Work can be processed at Window 1:

  • Same Days as above: 9am - 2:00pm***
  • Title work must be completed by George Gideon Auctioneers before item can be removed from property. Any title work not completed within 3 business days is subject to a $40/per day late fee.
  • Title work will only be done in the name of the registered bidder. Power of Attorney will not be accepted, must be done in person.

***Please note title work can take 30 minutes to process the paperwork (if you are the only person in line). Please come prepared with required paperwork. If you have any questions, please call before heading to us.

Any non-titled equipment must be removed within 5 business days or a storage fee of $35/per day will be charged to the buyer.
Dealers must provide current Tax Certificate and Dealers License.

NO CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16 ARE ALLOWED ON AUCTION PROPERTY.

Items are located in East Palatka & Palatka. Location information will be provided once payment, title work and hold harmless are completed.
Inspection for EAST PALATKA will be Wednesday, April 17th, from 9:30am - 11:00am. Inspection for PALATKA (LOC. B) will be the same day from 11:30am - 12:30pm. No inspections will be allowed after inspection date. Please call (407)886-2211 for more information.

Pickup hours for both locations will be from 7am - 3pm Monday through Friday. All items must be removed within 5 business days of the ending of the Auction. NO EXCEPTIONS. Any items not removed within 5 business days of the ending of the Auction, will have ownership revert back to Putnam County.

Auction Terms and Agreement

  1. THERE IS A 10% BUYERS PREMIUM ON THIS AUCTION
  2. All purchases must be settled within 3 business days with:
    1. CASH (INVOICES UNDER $5000)
    2. WIRE TRANSFER REQUIRED FOR INVOICES OVER $5000, (INCLUDES COMBINED INVOICES) A $35 WIRE FEE WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR INVOICE
    3. COMPANY OR PERSONAL CHECKS will be accepted ONLY WHEN ACCOMPANIED BY A VALID SIGNED LETTER OF GUARANTEE ON BANK LETTERHEAD FROM YOUR BANK. Faxed copies will not be accepted!

NO CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT A CURRENT BANK LETTER OF GUARANTEE.

  1. All payment will be made payable to GEORGE GIDEON AUCTIONEERS INC. All Auction items are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, WITH ALL FAULTS AND DEFECTS THEREIN. There is no guarantee as to make, model, year, miles, hours, or merchantability expressed or implied by Auctioneer and/or Owner, their employees or agents.
  2. Owner reserves the right to remove from, or add to, any Auction items, whether pictured or listed up to the end of Auction.
  3. Owner reserves the right to refuse any or all bids.
  4. All bidders are required to register prior to bidding on any Auction item. Owner & Auctioneer reserve the right to refuse registration to anyone who has not honored bids at prior Auctions.
  5. Sales tax will be collected on all taxable items, unless bidder has a valid sales tax number at the time of registration.
  6. While descriptions are believed to be accurate, information and quantities given by the Auction Company, Owner, or any other Auction personnel is offered only as a guide. Responsibility for proper nomenclature and identification of Auction merchandise is the responsibility of the bidder. Bidders are advised to inspect items prior to purchasing. Any claim for miss description must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the Seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property. All sales are final once the item(s) have been removed from selling location.
  7. The Seller DOES NOT provide transportation or loading services for buyers to remove their merchandise. Any and all methods of lifting, towing, and hauling, as well as all other methods or requirements for the removal and transport of the materials, equipment and/or vehicles, is the sole responsibility of the buyer. The ownership of any and all items not removed by the final day of removal will revert back to the Seller and they may re-sell or dispose of the property as they see fit.
  8. Purchaser may not resell or list an item for sale until payment has been made in full, all paperwork including any title work is completed, and removal has been made from item(s) listed location.
  9. If an Auction item must be resold due to nonpayment, the original purchaser relinquishes all rights to the item and, their bidding privilege will be suspended.
  10. By accepting these terms, Buyer agrees to binding arbitration in Orange County, FL, as selected by GGAI, for any legal actions against GGAI.

PLEASE NOTE:
FL DMV requires GGAI to transfer all titles and tags.

The fees for all titled items purchased by individuals are:

A Late Fee of $40.00 is charged for any required paper work or information NOT provided by 3 days after the Auction.

No vehicles released until title transfer is completed.
All vehicles require tag and title work.
Temp Tags will ONLY be issued for State of Florida title transfers preforming an expired tag transfer or purchasing a new plate. Temp tags will NOT be issued for any other reason.

Items bid on in the last 5 Minutes will have their Bidding time extended for 5 Minutes.

Bids placed within 24 hours of the Auction ending are final and cannot be changed.
